Meet your Photographer!
Hello, I'm Drea and I am a self-taught, nature-inspired artist and photographer.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved photography and come from a long line of photographers. As a child I would sit for hours flipping through family photo albums drawn to the stories each image held.

My love of photography began with film cameras, and there will always be a place in my heart for that "old school" approach.
A collection of tools that shaped the lens through which I see life. From the Konica I inherited from my grandfather and my father's Canon AE-1, to the digital camera I use today, each one tells a different chapter in my history and artistic journey.

Even now, in the a age of the ever-present smart phone cameras, I'm usually the one with a camera around my neck and a bag of lenses at my side.
I'm most at home outdoors, and bring my camera along on every adventure.
Over the past two decades, I've refined my digital photography skills, sometimes blending my work with physical mediums like paint, pastels or pencils, or by digitally creating a new image.

It was the beauty found in nature that first inspired me to actually pick up a camera, and that same perspective guides how I photograph people. I see beauty everywhere.

This perspective allows me to to capture genuine emotion and the unexpected moments.
I specialize in outdoor sessions, including weddings, lifestyle/family portraits, and senior photography. I'm not afraid to get a little muddy - or climb a tree - if it means capturing the right shot.
I strive to create timeless visual stories that reflect the significance of each moment. Using natural light and thoughtful composition, my goal is to deliver images that feel both authentic and enduring. ​

​As an ever-curious artist, I am always looking to learn and grow. I have recently returned to school to pursue a degree in digital art, expanding on my artistic endeavor - an experience that has deepened both my creative perspective and my appreciation for nature-based art.
I am passionate about capturing life's moments and the beauty of the natural world. My goal is to provide a personalized, thoughtful experience while creating images and artwork that resonate long after the moment has passed.
